Insperational

"Champions aren't made in gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them-a desire, a dream, a vision. They have to have last-minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. But the will must be stronger than the skill."
Mohammed Ali

I have spent the whole weekend in Rotherham at the Festival of triathlon. Refereeing and marshal ling the events from Kids to adult novices on Saturday in the sun to the dedicated hard men and women of the sprint and standard on the Sunday.

Nothing however compares to the warm feeling I have buzzing around me though today after watching the 1st National Disabled Championships ever. All weekend I have been looking forward to this event and it was worth it. Despite the weather everyone enjoyed themselves it was just a shame that more athletes didn't stick around to witness the event.

Training has been going well otherwise I am just tapering down for the first MD of the year at weymouth. That is just an excuse for me to go and get my new bike though which is now ready! look out boys I'm going to be flying in a few weeks at the 25m TT in Spalding!

  3. Just thought, Dambuster Tri is on 21 June so the 25 is out. Will look at the 50 though! That could be a good training event for Almere!
