Dawn had me down in the lake. This time to complete a 4k TT. It may just be me but every time I swim open water I have the Jaws theme in the back ground as well as suddenly remembering all the details about animals that live in the water, mostly sharks and crocs. However today I was thinking about Hippos and if one would actually like to take a bite out of me.
However...... The swim went well and after 1:08 of swimming I was more than glad to get out! I possibly didn't push as hard as I should have but then Almere is a way of and I don't want to peak to soon.
Legs are feeling great after the weekends exploits which saw the mighty Sags take a big plant and wreck the bike. Our condolences are with him as we know it was a traumatic day having to part from his beloved wheels. At least he was wearing a helmet when he landed on his head.
