Back and allmost ready to unpack

Well it was along few days Monday and Tuesday.

Monday was spent down the pool and spa relaxing and enjoying the calm weather we were having after the weekends blustery swim conditions. Before spending several hours to finish reading "Hero's Villains and Velodromes". Not a bad read and a real insight to the secret squirrel club and track racing. Before beginning on "The Game" As the nights cooled I decided to have a little jog out and just cruised the run course as the sun set on my Barcelona Adventure 09.

Tuesday up with the sparrows and down the pool for 6 just to get some training in and be able to feel good about myself for the rest of the day travelling. After 2k of just below threshold pace I pop of to breakfast and then pack the car for Barcelona and my sight seeing tour. With no idea where I was going I just headed along the N11 to Barcelona a followed the signs to where I thought some stuff might be.

Honestly no map and no idea what a lot of fun. Visited the Olympic Stadium/ Village and museum first and just realised the shear magnitude of everything required to host the greatest show on earth and then ventured in a NW direction until I found "Nou Camp". I never really knew much about the club but I was in awe of the setting and the number of fans visiting on the eve of their 3rd Champions League victory. Not bad for a part finished stadium.

I then drove about and stumbled across a few more iconic places of interest. Now this is how holidays are meant to be planned... on a napkin and without a care in the world.
