New Kit........New Year

"One should either be a work of art, or wear a work of art". ~Oscar Wilde

Well after questioning the lack of pockets and quality for the past year or so of the RAF tri kit. I have now opted out and gone with Imp Sports who also look like they will be supplying the new Lincoln Tri kit as well as already supplying RAF Cycling and supporting Bella & Steve with all their kitting needs. Having tried it on I can say it feels alot nicer than my other suits and has the added advantage of two side pockets. All I need now is plain black tri shorts with my name on too finish of both kits nicely.
I know what some might say that it is a little short or what was wrong with the old kit but then I am wearing them with hipster trunks and not Tri Shorts and it was cheap and fell apart too easily after washing. Either way it looks and feels good. The new material is alot more pliable and a better water repellent and if its good enough for the Prince and Princess of the IM world then it's good enough for the "Iron Fairy" Spoty.
The eagle eye may also notice the new option as well "Two Piece". Well if you have it flaunt it if not let it it hang proud! First Race is Clumber in only 50 odd days now. Lets hope all this personal studying time is going to work out

  1. I'm sorry, but coming from someone who nagged everybody to death because they dared to have their zip undone, that is, as Daz said, just wrong, on several levels. And the design is very old as well.

  2. Is this a wind up? This is an RAF Cycling kit rework, similar to the kit that RAF Lyneham used for IM Western Aus last year. One team, one identity, One uniform?

Come now Mike; how do you feel about this? Lie down on the psych bed and let's chat!

  3. Please, no!

I agree with Sags, it looks like a throw back to RAF Cycling in the early 2000's not modern kit. As for fit - nooooooooo!

  4. And the red & white part of the design with the strategic location of the zip makes it look like a kn0b!
