It is true what they say , being injured when your an athlete is lonely. I find myself everyday currently itching to go out and run. I just know that it would set me back a few more weeks but that feeling of being out there and running again. I live to be in the moment all the time. The biking and swimming are coming on leaps and bounds and I'm finding it great fun with the demanding sets that I am being set by both coaches.
The first race is only a week away and I just can't wait to get out there and give it all I have, I know I will be of the mark but in the long run I aim to be back beyond 100% again by the Time of the WLC in Almere. I have to be fit by then just to silence the critics before I bow out and move on!
