Well the tapering is killing me. I have never had so much time to recover before a race before but what Dawn says is the law and must be up held. So no training yesterday and easy sessions today with Friday off (only Maddy to contend with tommorrow, and that's going to hurt).
I can't believe the Olympics so far. 40 medals as I once again predicted (BOC only predicted 35 with 12 Gold). I will now say we are going to smash through 45 medals with the possibility of 3 more golds now.
I think we know how the new years honors are going to look.....looks like I'll have to wait another year.
My prediction for sports personality is going to be Chris Hoy with Rebbecca Adlington Second (Lewis had his chance last year). I'll say it now and it will be a hands down victory for the track cyclists in the team competition. With Nadal being the foreigner, well who else has done anything special this year.

Time to be bold!

I'm coming to the end of 3 weeks leave and so have watched quite a bit of the Olympics and really enjoyed it. I have particularly enjoyed some of the sports that I wouldn't normally consider; watching athlets/sportsman at the very top of their game is brilliant regardless of the sport (well almost!).
ReplyDeleteAs for your "Totty of The Day", good choice. I thought both of the British Pentathlon girls were rather scrummy! :-)
